Elisa Vanzetti whose father was a civil court judge came from a prosperous family in Florence, Italy. After being orphaned, an Uncle already in Australia brought the young family to Australia. They settled in South Perth. Elisa Vanzetti married Martino Martino Paini in 1921. Matilde never married. She worked as a secretary with a law firm in Albany, WA & later went to London & worked as Private Secretary to the Italian Ambassador.
