Read their story
After being in Victoria for 11 months, the family returned to WA and settled in the Mt Barker region. Turning to sheep farming and buying a property called 'Stirling Downs', Kees also cared for the land by planting trees and rehabilitating salt land. Kees died on his farm in 2004.
