Aloysius & Adriana Van Wees and children Harry, Anky, Alexander & Mariette were offered migrant passage to Melbourne in 1953 on the MS FAIRSEA. During the voyage, by way of a ballot our family was given the option to disembark in Fremantle, which we did. The best decision our parents made!
