I consider myself to be a modern day pioneer in that I was among the first group to open up and develop the Pilbara Region and remained there for most of my working life. I was part of the team who loaded the first Iron Ore Carrier to depart Dampier.

  • Hugo, don't know if you recognise my name, and like you I was also there and I was on No. 1 dolphin to attach the ships cable to the bollard when that ship berthed.
