Hubert Alden (Father) was a prisoner of war in Changi. He migrated to Australia in 1960, after Margaret (Mother) and seven children migrated in 1957. Eldest daughter migrated in 1959. Margaret was a prisoner of war in Palembang, Sumatra. She had three daughters and was pregnant with the fourth who was born in the camp.
