Theodora's husband Cornelis van Aalst (dob 23/2/1917 & dod 12/10/1989) arrived beforehand in 1952 on the Johan van Oldenbarnevelt. He was a mechanical fitter working first for W.A.G.R. and then at the Collie Coal Mines.
