Ante arrived in Australia 1913. Leaving his wife and three sons in Yugoslavia working hard as a labourer, sleeper hewer and fisherman, he was able to bring his family to Australia eleven years later. Ante was well known around Spearwood and Fremantle area selling fish with his horse and cart.
