Read their story

Jan was taken by the German SS as a political prisoner in Autumn 1940. He spent 5 years in Auschwitz and Buchenwald concentration camps. After the war, he was resettled in Australia. He worked at Pemberton, the wheatbelt and then Perth. He married Margaret in 1960. His two children are Jeanette and Vanda.
