Reunited with husband had not seen for 5 1/2 years. In 15 yrs of marriage she and her husband spent 4 yrs together, interrupted by national service, war and PoW. Raised two sons solo in Italy and bore two sons in Australia. Matriach of immigrants from her area in Italy, fondly called ‘Aunty'.
