Vitaliano, son of Luigi and Elisabetta, left Galliera Veneta in 1957 to find work. Went to Melbourne before returning to Perth, eventually secured work in concrete industry. In 1960 asked his fiancee Angela Stragliotto to join him. They married August 1960 and had 3 children, Lidia, Maria-Luisa and Paul, and settled in Mount Hawthorn.
