Departed Italy as bride of Paolo Tropiano (early agricultural pioneer). Initially settled in a shed surrounded by virgin bushland until farmhouse was built. Assisted husband with clearing of 'Emu Soak' & establishment of wheat & sheep property. Raised 8 children.
