Antonio migrated to Fremantle in 1950. Having found no work locally, accepted a job in Alice Springs working on the railway. After 5 long years, Antonio had saved enough money & returned to Fremantle, purchased a home on 5 acres of land and sent for his family. Reuniting with his family in 1955 was the ultimate reward for his hard work.
