Tom worked in Kulin, Kulgarrin & Narrogin. 1926 settled in Gutha. Met wife 1928. They lived in a tent on a farm where he worked for 2 years without wages during Depression years, clearing 5 acre paddock with shovel & axe. Moved to Perth in 1937 where he worked for Wright's Produce Merchants. Daughter Elsie born 1933. Son Keith born 1940.
