Were transferred to the 'Group Settlements' Pingelly. Approx 18 months later moved to Perth. Attended Perth Baptist Church becoming quite active members. Later honoured as 'Deacon' & 'Deaconess'. Dad performed maintenance on the church. Mum supported 'Home Missions' with the clothes etc for the poor & needy in the country areas. Three children came from their marriage: Gordon 17/1/1926-2/1/1999, Verna 5/6/1929-13/12/2004 & Joy 20/8/1927 & still living.
