Read their story

Father answered Salvation Army advert for a cornet player for Bunbury Band. Had been in Egypt 5 years during WW2 and couldn't stand UK weather. Salvation Army found job and accommodation. Stayed in Bunbury 6 months, then to Perth. Father military musician in Western Command Band most of working life.
