Ben & Jane had 4 sons & 4 daughters. 1 son & 2 daughters born in England, the rest in WA. One son born here was 'John', my Great Grandfather. He with others were the founders of the Rockingham Road Board and was first President. His wife 'Mary' was Irish from 'Kerry'.

Benjamin and Jane Hill were my great great great grandparents on my mothers side. Down through their son Ebnezer b 1835, his son James b 1962, his daughter Amy Gladys b 1898 (my grandmother). Ebeneser was a Police Constable in Fremantle.

Benjamin and Jane Thorpe were my great great great grandparents. My ancestry is via their daughter Mary Ann born 1829, her daughter Mary Ann born 1845, her son Francis born 1885 and my father born 1931 . So interesting xx
