Fraser and (Mary) Elizabeth were married in Scotland and migrated to Australia in 1913. They settled at Marinup (near Bridgetown) and then moved to Nannup and later to South Perth. They had six children: Daphne, Alex, Elizabeth, George, Marjory and Jane. Fraser became a prominent journalist at the Sunday Times in Perth
