Arrived in Fremantle. Stayed at the YMCA in Perth. Got a job the following day (and hasn't been out of work since). He was followed by his younger brother in the late 1970's, leaving his parents and two older brothers in the UK. Has been back to UK on holidays, but Australia is and will always be home.
