Luigi worked on the family farm but wanted a new challenge. Sponsored by his brother, he arrived in Perth in 1956. Luigi was joined in 1959 by his wife, Silvia & son, Antonio. He worked in a variety of jobs, including storeman for Westrail until he retired. Luigi died in 1991.
