After 6 years mining in Kalgoorlie, Andrea returned to Tirano, to marry Margherita on 10th Dec 1913. They left for Fremantle on their wedding day. Andrea worked on the Karrawang woodline, later turning to market gardening. They had four daughters and lost one son at birth (twin of Ester).
