Joe (Giuseppe) had 3 sisters & 7 brothers. In 1930 Joe married Louisa Fanesi (born in Fremantle) and they moved to Nanga Brook. In 1933 purchased 21 acres of land opposite Wanneroo showgrounds for market gardening. They had 7 children - Fred, Joe, Evelyn, Albert, Ezio, Neil & Dianne.
