Godfrey (34) & Stella (Bateman, 32) with their children, Brenda Joyce (9), Gillian Maris (7), Mary Ann (5) & Graham Charles (9 months) emigrated from Singapore. Dad sought to provide his family with a better future in Australia during the political unrest experienced following he war. The family was complete with the birth of Patrick Majella in 1963. The successful careers of their children are a tribute to Mum and Dad's sacrifices.
