Eldest of Peter and Vanca Ylioff's 5 children. Educated at Manjimup Primary & High Schools. Graduated Claremont Teacher's College 1968. Married Morawa farmer George Taseff 1970. Taught in Morawa. Son Wade born in Three Springs 1973. Moved to Perth in 1973 where sons Troy (1974) and Adam (1976) were born.
