Migration sponsored by Church of Enlgand. Expected employment by Lever Bros didn't eventuate. Employed as a sustenance labourer on road (Yanchep) and railway (Mullewa) projects. While employed as a night cleaner at Foy & Gibson department store (Perth) Thomas was fatally injured when he fell down a lift well.
