1943-1945 with Sofija (wife), Lidia, Halyna spent in Nuremberg, Germany in “Ostarbeiter” labour camps then UNRA, IRO refugee camps. Sponsored by daughter Zoja, came to Australia. Borrowed £360 for fare from CWS - to be paid back in 3 years.
