The family came from Slovenia. Lived in Austria during WWII. Arrived in Australia as displaced persons under contract to work for two years for the Government. Family physically built own home in Rivervale, WA and resided there for 53 years. Father involved in construction of Royal Perth Hospital for mechanical services.
