Elizabeth travelled to Perth on an overnight train trip, and was met by her husband, William. They travelled to Cunderdin where he was working on the Goldfields Water Supply Project. They eventually moved to the No. 5 Pumping Station at Yerbillon. The family of five children were all raised there.
