From Point Walter Immigrant Hostel the family moved to Belmont then to East Cannington, eventually settling in Rockingham where Mr Strong worked at the Kwinana Power House and son Royston, started an apprenticeship with Australian Iron & Steel, Kwinana. The family still reside in the Rockingham area.
