Alf arrived with wife Florence & daughters Valerie & Jill. A tradesman plumber he immediately found work. He was involved & oversaw plumbing installations in several multi-storey buildings around Perth & Fremantle, including Fremantle Hospital extensions. His family loved the WA lifestyle, blue sky and beaches, never regretting the move from Birmingham, England.
