Disembarked at Fremantle WA for day on journey to Sydney, NSW.
Both were escapees from WWI which they experienced first hand. They met in Palestine & married in Egypt. They lived in Alexandria, Lebanon (Beirut) & Cairo. They migrated to Australia after Germany annexed Austria & saw WWII coming. They knew the Australian High Commissioner and he persuaded them Australia was better than Canada.
