Geza married Joan Olive Langdon from Albany. They settled in Perth and had four children, Fiona Jane Stegena, Micheal Andrew Stegena, Peter Louis Stegena and Richard Laszlo Stegena. Geza completed a Civil Engineering degree in WA and had a long professional career with the Metropolitan Water Board.
