Worked in mining Cue & Gwalia. Had his index finger on right hand amputated. Spent 4 years in Internment Camps in Kalgoorlie, Harvey, Loftday, Rottnest & Adelaide. Supplied wood from Woodline to pumping stations, then opened the Amalfi Restaurant in Kalgoorlie. Married at 38 and had 4 children. Acted as interpreter for many Italians.
