Arrived in Fremantle at age 18. Met and married Camelia in 1954. Had two children - Cathy and James. Worked in limestone quarries in Fremantle, Spearwood, Wanneroo and up to Moore River. Was original pioneer in limestone Industry - inventing a machine to cut it into blocks. He worked in this field up to his death at the age of 72.
