Marjorie Starkey was in the first group of orphans sent to WA by Kingsley Fairbridge. She was at Fairbridge Farm, Pinjarra for six years. Following a two-year break, she returned to work in the Fairbridge administration in West Perth. She was capable, alert and a fast learner.
