Used name Matilda. Came as a paying passenger. Was born in a Workhouse. Married one of first Greeks in WA - Antoni Fossilo (was Phasoulas). They had eight children. Antonio had a 'Master' Certificate and worked as a lighterman at Fremantle Harbour. He saved children from drowning and is acknowledged in the Battye Library.
