Within a few weeks after Günter's arrival in Fremantle he got married to me (Else Tölle). I had emigrated about 3 months ahead of him on the Anna Salen disembarking in Port Melbourne, from where I went to Perth by train. We had one child, Carol. Günter worked widely in the construction industry.
