My father served in WWI AIF #2859 Sgt with 15th Battalion. Married my mother Blanche Norris in Watford, Herts., England on 13/01/1919. Departed Southampton with my sister Doreen 6 years in 1928. My vivid memory of Females only in cabins and Males only, was unusual. On arrival in Fremantle, being picked up in a Buick soft-top car was equally exciting!
