Antonietta was born in Locri, Italia, in 1926 and grew up by the beach within a close knit family. She studied as a seamstress in Italia and survived WWII. She was married to husband, Umberto, by proxy in 1958 and migrated to Australia to join Umberto in 1960. She was a loving mother and grandmother and aunty. Gave her time for family and friends. Antonietta had a love for fashion and was a fantastic cook.
