Married by proxy in 1939, Rosa Spagnolo, one of sixteen children, joined husband Emilio in Australia in 1950. Rosa was renowned for her guitar playing and singing talent and during the non-television years together with husband Emilio, they entertained many new migrants and locals at parties.
