After 11 years of military service in WW II, Emilio Spagnolo migrated to Australia from Italy. He worked as a Quarry Miner/Stonemason in Spearwood and later cleared bushland in Kalgoorlie. In the 60s with wife Rosa they raised four children and cultivated a market garden in Osborne Park.
