Nicholas Soulos arrived in Fremantle at 13 years of age. Later married and had two daughters and six sons. Pioneered the salmon, shark & crayfish industries in the South West. Had a fleet of boats which he leased out to competent skippers, as a means of creating work for the unemployed.
