My tragedy began in 1939 when the Russians invaded Eastern Poland and arrested my father, he was never found. We were deported to Siberia near Archangel. Eventually we were lucky to get out of Russia and ended up in Tanzania, East Africa as displaced persons. Arrived in Australia 1950.
