Alessei Sorokin born 10/02/1917 was from USSR but remained in Italy after the 2nd World War where he married Maria Poledric born 20/07/1920. They were forced to leave Europe as politically persecuted persons in 1950 with their son, Antonio Sorokin and arrived in Fremantle on 3/11/1950.
