Age 16 settled in Morawa/Pintharuka. Took up farming. Married Rosa Franco in 1939, had 4 children. Rosa passed away 1944. Married Rita Posterivo 1951, had 7 more children. Continued farming and land clearing until 1970 then worked for Boans and Ansett Airlines until retiremant in 1986. .
