Read their story

Deported, aged 15, to forced labour in Arkhangelsk, Northern Siberia, February 1940. Following Sikorski-Majski Treaty, journeyed south and fled the USSR, across Caspian Sea on to British East Africa. Spent 3 years with RAF in Southern Rhodesia, arrived Fremantle 14/02/1950. Married Witold Bredi 1951. Willowed early in her marriage, she spent her life as a loving and generous aunt to her adoring nieces and nephews. Passed away in Perth in 2002.
