Wilf and Betty Snowball with daughters Elaine and Karen initially settled in Lake Grace before moving to Brookton in 1966. At this time Wilf was employed by Wesfarmers Co-op. The family moved to Perth in 1969 where Wilf and later Betty were employed by Boans Ltd.
