Convicted of larceny at Manchester 1848. Sentences to 7 years Penal Servitude at Swan River Colony. Convict No. 342. Issued with Ticket of Leave on 29 August 1851. Conditional pardon granted 30 September 1953. Married Elizabeth Hymus on 6 October 1855. 14 children. Taught Sunday school at East Rockingham for 20 years. Buried in Jarrahdale WA Cemetery.
