John & Bridget (nee McGuigan) arrived with Mary (15), Pearse (12), John (9) & Mauraid (6). They added Malachy (1952) & Una (1956) to complete the family. The Skeffington family grew together in Sixth Avenue Maylands, John & Bridget maintaining family homes in the area for forty years. Active parishioners at Maylands all their lives.
