Educated at Toodyay Convent & Christian Brothers, Highgate. Joined WA Police as cadet in 1958. Retired as a Superintendent in 1996. In 2000 served with the UN Peacekeeping Force in East Timor. Married Barbara Tuvik. Children - Sean & Peta. Later married Pearly Quay-Fong. Children - Su-Yin & Mee-Ling. Rugby player & surf life saver.
