Remo came to WA to join his two brothers Pasquale & Mario. Sponsoship was made by Pasquale. Remo made the trip at 17 to get a better future. All brothers met again at Fremantle after being apart for many years. The trip took 21 days. After working in Nannup for a short while he found other employment in Shannon at the Mill. He later met Cleup Russo who became his wife. Together they moved to Perth and started their own family, Tania and Lisa.
